We came to Walla Walla with a large family from across the country to spend Thanksgiving together and enjoy a little wine country. The Boyer House was am amazing place to do it!
Not only is the ambiance amazing (decor, art, furniture, lighting, etc), there was plenty of rooms, nooks & crannies for the whole family to spread out. (We had 13 people sleeping in the house!)
If you are looking for a four season experience, I would think you should be very happy here. I will definitely be visiting the Boyer House again!

One of the people who joined in the group was told about this house by a good friend of hers a couple years ago and my friend and I decided that we would try to book for a Walla Walla Spring Release weekend. We ended up being able to get it for 2019 and along with five couples and one single we had a wonderful weekend. We arrived on Thursday before the big Spring Release started and enjoyed a spontaneous dinner at the house ... headed to amazing wine tasting experiences organized by our gracious hosts on Friday and then had dinner at the house planned by all with food we got from Owen's meats in Cle Elum on the way over as well as other delighful foods people brought from home. Sat outside at the amazing group table and drank wine from the days excursions and delighted in conversation well into the evening. More Spring Release wine tasting the next day including Abeja and Walla Walla Vintners, both delightful stops. Dinner as a group at Passatempo in a private room; loud, boisterous, delicious and perfect! Oh, I almost forgot - hosts provided amazing pastries for Saturday morning breakfast, YUM! Sunday, packed up and headed home, saying goodbye to a wonderful weekend with dear friends, good wine, great food and fantastic conversation. Be sure to walk over to Pioneer Park with the aviary, we all went there everyday - hard to believe that it is there, so well taken care of and wonderful. The Boyer House is everything the images show and more. Oh, yes, we watched the cult film Airplane Thursday night in the media room and kept the entire house up with our raucous laughter. Perfect weekend and perfect hosts. Thank you!

Second time back. Our extended family including my 80 year old parents gathered for our son’s graduation from Whitman. Three amazing nights of barbecuing, croquet and pool table, our 20 something grads loved it. The kitchen wasn’t missing a thing. Will definitely be back.

Our group of 5 couples immensely enjoyed the weekend at the Boyer House to celebrate my husband’s 50th! The house was amazing, and we enjoyed a beautiful dinner at the outdoor dining table with heat lamps, watched Seahawks on the big screen, enjoyed the patios, the game room, and marveled at the detail of the décor and artwork. The weather really helped make the weekend perfect, but we were so glad we chose this house for the location, style & amenities—our guests couldn’t stop talking about it (several were studying for remodel & decor ideas). The location was great so people could wander downtown or go for a walk or run at their convenience, and enjoy different parts of the house alone or in groups. The rooms were beautiful and allowed for guests to hit the sack or get up/sleep in at different times without interfering with others. Kasey was very helpful with planning & answering all of our questions. Thanks for a great weekend!

The Boyer House was the perfect location for our wedding day dinner with our friends and family. The house is beautifully appointed, with a stunning yard to match. We couldn’t have asked for a better place, and ours guests were blown away. We highly recommend the Boyer House for any special occasion. The property manager, Kacey was extremely supportive and great with communication and providing recommendations for amenities and services in Walla Walla. Thank you again!!

If I could give six stars, I would. We brought a group of ten people to the Boyer House for a medical school reunion. A couple of our guests flew in from the east coast. I'll admit that they were dubious about driving an additional four + hours from Seattle to Walla Walla. Even our Seattle guests were a bit reluctant. That said, once we arrived at the house & stepped inside, everyone became positively giddy. The place is magnificent without being intimidating. We felt at home immediately. We also felt like royalty. We used the house fully: there was a jam session in the living room; our son brought a few of his friends from Whitman College to play pool in the basement; the introverts curled up in corners with their books; and my elderly mother sat on the front porch admiring the lilacs and enjoying the gentle pace of Walla Walla. The kitchen is a joy to cook in. The beds are perfect & the linens and pillows are the real thing. I could go on, but that would have me rhapsodizing about the silverware. Trust me: this is a fine place. It gave our weekend soul. The Davenports have created something truly special.

We just returned from a wonderful weekend at Boyer House. We (a group of 5 couples) were so "wow'ed" by the place last year that staying at Boyer House again was a no-brainer.
The house is simply exquisite. The gourmet kitchen is a chef's dream and is hands down the best equipped kitchen I've ever encountered in a vacation rental home. The well-appointed bedrooms, inviting common spaces, amazing artwork, and décor made it hard to leave the home to take advantage of all that Walla Wall has to offer. We just loved hanging out in the grand room!
As mentioned in other reviews, Kasey Davenport, the property manager, is a dream to work with and readily available to address any questions or concerns. Boyer House would be the perfect venue for weddings, family reunions, and other celebrations. However, it's also the perfect venue simply to celebrate friends and family!
We will return soon.
We rented the Boyer House for our wedding weekend. Our greatest hesitation was that it sleeps 16 people and we had 7 bridesmaids and 9 groomsmen plus their significant others! So we were worried that since not everyone could stay there, then some might feel left out. We were in town visiting in November 2016 and Kasey offered to do a walk through for the house (she was our wedding planner already). We were instantly awestruck by the walk through. It is beyond stunning, incredibly hospitable, feels like you are in a dream or at least a design/decor magazine! It's like Restoration Hardware + Williams Sonoma + vintage. After we saw it we decided to book it and it was ONE OF THE BEST DECISIONS EVER for our wedding.
We checked in on Saturday morning and were welcomed by a note, a bottle of wine, and a wine opener. Music was playing on the speakers to set the tone. We had our rehearsal dinner there later Saturday night with a taco truck. We had the dinner in the backyard and rented some extra chairs and tables. It was magical. The next morning our hair and makeup artists arrived and set up in the dining room. It was perfect for girls to get ready in the dining room with the natural lighting from the big windows and we could all sit around the dining table and chat and eat food as other girls were getting their hair or makeup done. The bridesmaids and I got "dressed" in the master bedroom and we have the MOST BEAUTIFUL photos there. The groomsmen got ready in the basement where the pool table is. They also hung out in the backyard. We then did our First Look outside on the porch/front yard and it was MAGICAL. My husband and I then walked with our photographers down about 1.5 blocks to some green areas of Whitman College campus and shot some more photos. We left the house to take more photos at another location and then our wedding ceremony and reception were at a winery in Walla Walla. After the reception, we had some people come back to the house where we ended up sitting in the kitchen eating left over snacks around the kitchen island.
I had friends come from San Francisco, Los Angeles, London, the Netherlands, and everyone who stayed at the house loved it and everyone who visited the house thought it was gorgeous. I actually loved having a central location for all of our bridal party to hang out, even if some of them were staying at a hotel. Mainly because the significant others of the bridal party could also hang out rather than sitting in a hotel room all alone or bored.
Staying at Boyer House completely changed our wedding weekend into something joyful, social, stylish, and special. I couldn't imagine a similar experience if we had stayed at one of the hotels. If BH is within your budget (which if you divide by the number of couples that stay there is really comparable to hotel prices if slightly more expensive) and available your wedding weekend you MUST BOOK IT.

We just got home from a wonderful, first-class experience at The Boyer House in Walla Walla and are missing the amazing amenities and ambiance of this incredible place. Boyer House is located in the middle of (but not 'too close to') the surprises of this charming town and region of Washington. It served as the perfect hub for our activities of wine-tasting, shopping, walking, eating, dining, and ... more wine-tasting!.
Kasey Davenport (manager and event planner) was spot-on for planning our itinerary. She knows this town inside and out and took great care of us (a group of four couples). Amazing!
Perfect in every detail!! and I would recommend a stay for anyone seeking a special treat. Cheers!!

Wow - Boyer House has it ALL! Love how the classic architecture of the house has been maintained yet everything has been renovated and UPDATED to feel FRESH AND CURRENT - the interior finishes, the kitchen, the bathrooms with HEATED FLOORS and WaterWorks fixtures and shower heads, bedrooms with REMOTE CONTROL BLACKOUT SHADES and luxurious bedding and the ultra soft full length robes. The first floor rooms have GREAT FLOW - the open living room had plenty of seating for our group of 8, the sitting room with the working fireplace was MORE COZY for when just 4 or 5 of us wanted to hang out, and the dining room has a rich feel with incredible serving pieces and stemware that made every meal extra special! The 3rd floor THEATRE ROOM with the enormous screen was perfect for watching the Final Four bball games. And the downstairs billiard and dart room has a big choice of games/activities. Off the second and third floor are Big Outdoor balconies - perfect for hanging out and having a cocktail.
The ARTWORK hanging throughout all 4 floors is amazing and just makes the house. Loved the big contemporary piece in our bedroom. The sense of design in this house is phenomenal - I kept noticing special touches throughout our 3 day stay.
The home itself is Spectacular, and Property Manager/EVENT PLANNER KASEY Davenport helped plan a fabulous visit to Walla Walla. She recommended and ARRANGED 3 WINE TASTINGS - each one a very different experience - my favorite was the private tour followed by a wine tasting with food pairing where our group was seated in the private wine cellar room that seats just 8. Kasey also made DINNER RESERVATIONS for us at T.Maccarone’s (pork shank was flavorful, as was the brussel sprout/bacon/pear salad and homemade pastas) and Whitehouse Crawford (great lamb and halibut) - loved both, try those! Kasey recommended HIKES we drove to - thumbs up on nearby Bennington Lake. Also the Whitman Mission HISTORIC SITE was interesting to check out.
The LOCATION of Boyer House was REALLY CONVENIENT - We walked to and from T Mac’s on Sat night and to and from breakfast Sun morning which was great for working off the decadent cinnamon roll, plus it was fun to stroll through WHITMAN COLLEGE campus on the way to downtown Walla Walla and see the impressive collection of outdoor art installations.
Overall, Boyer House was PERFECT for our group of 4 couples, and made for a great first visit to Walla Walla (ok, so the wine tastings also helped:)
